It is not enough to simply educate an addict of his or her addictions, but to teach them how to get free and stay free for the rest of their lives. We believe that the answer lies in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ where old things are passed away and all things become new. We seek to prepare students to not only walk through challenges but also to grow through them. Fresh Start Ministry is located in Winnsboro, Louisiana at 7060 Prairie Rd. This 48-room facility has a maximum capacity of 82 men. In our seven-month recovery program, male residents learn to deal with the roots of their addictions from a Christian perspective.

STEPHANIE CAMPBELL
Women’s Center Director Registered Addiction Counselor Ordained Minister(Destiny Leadership Institute) Parent Instructor
When I started as the Administrator for Fresh Start Women's Center on opening day, April of 2012, my heart was to help people who were struggling with addiction. My passion through the years and that desire has not waivered. I have grown in this ministry as I have encountered many situations that have given me the experience to help clients break through various bondages using the words of the Gospel. I always strive to be the best administrator, leader and counselor to our clients by keeping up with real time trends of addiction. Staying educated is a priority in helping the client of today. Since becoming Administrator I have obtained a two-year faith-based Leadership certification from Destiny Leadership Institution and became an ordained minister. As an R.A.C. (Registered Addiction Counselor), I counsel clients in a group setting and individually where they can process their thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
Restoration of relationships and families is something as a Certified Parent Council Instructor I strive to accomplish. I work to empower the clients with knowledge, skills and support to navigate the challenges, relationships and joys of parenting. Each of these accomplishments has helped me better serve this ministry and my community.
